I’m a FooPet veteran, and this is my 3rd and only account now. I figured since I don’t play much anymore the only thing I have left of this site are memories. So I’m going to share my FooPets story with whoever is here visiting my profile!
My first account was PuppyLuvr96. Don’t laugh, I was young! I didn’t play on that account for long and I actually completely forgot about it. When I joined again I had a different name. I changed it many times before I settled on Hania-Spiritwolf. In those days “Roleplaying” was very popular in the forums here and I was a part of that for a while. I fell out of it before it got taken off, but it was fun while it lasted! There were a lot of fights about it and it definitely wasn’t perfect, but that’s in the past now. Anyway, I started playing FooPets as it was meant to be played! I was buying and selling and breeding..
Then I was given this account. I played on both for a while but eventually changed over to this one full time. Around this time Legacy Pokies were very rare. I had a chocolate lab. Then, suddenly, all of the legacy pokies in the shelter were brought back and you could buy them! It doesn’t seem like much anymore but this was super exciting!! LPHs and LPGSDs remained rare, but people were finding them! It was a few months after this that I found Aiden. Someone once claimed that I scammed to get him.. but this is the real story. I was after my beautiful Mercedes (an oddstat Yorkie). Her owner wanted an Oddstat yellow lab so I was raising money to buy one and trade her. One was for sale in the breeding forum but he was going for much more than I could afford. I began to theorize.. maybe the Oddstat glitch happens in bunches? So I went to that Oddstats profile and went up a few numbers from his. Nothing. So I went back to the profile and began going down. 3 links down and there he was. A legacy pokey husky in the shelter, just waiting for me to buy him. I couldn’t believe with the number of people on that thread making offers that no one had found him… it felt like they were so close. Obviously I bought him and I’ve had him ever since.
He’s not the only rarity I’ve found, though. Here’s a story you really won’t believe. I also had a female LPH at one time. I sold her for very cheap to someone so they could gift her to their friend. Now she’s deleted.. But I found her on Google. Yes, Google. See, Google allows you to filter your results with things such as using – to eliminate results with any words you specify. So I googled “no name is a female pokey husky owned by theadoptioncenter -siblings” so it would delete all results that had siblings leaving me with only first generations. Most of the results were either deleted or owned by people but a few pages in and there she was! You may not believe me but it’s true!!
I have also found a balloon head, who I rehomed, several lost stats, the lowest (known) male rottie and the lowest (known) Australian shepherd (Nicole Justice) on FooPets. But that’s neither here nor there. Continuing on… obviously I did eventually acquire a yellow lab and trade him for my Mercedes. After that, the next notable thing that happened to me was Moose. I entered a rehoming for him and it was the single most stressful thing I’ve ever done on this site. It was very enjoyable too, though!
I’m forever appreciative of everything that’s happened to me on this site. I may return one day, but the site has gotten dull. If it picks up again, you’ll see me. Thanks for taking the time to read. Also, it doesn’t matter how long I haven’t been on here, if you send me a message I do receive it and look at it. I get notifications from the site. Goodbye.
