Ever-so-constantly you see innocent members on Foo getting scammed. The amount of people getting scammed is growing quite rapidly. The bad people on Foo are rapidly out-weighing the good members.
But I have always asked my-self. What joy comes out of scamming? What are the pro’s of scamming a member? Is it worth scamming?
I will also tell you some secrets I have developed to avoid getting scammed. And a few ways to detect one.
I know I am not the only one that has asked these questions. I’m going to try and get this message across to all scammers. Hopefully you will all come to your senses and quit it.
What joy comes out of scamming?
Absolutely none. Well you gain a rare pet. You also may witness the joy of seeing an innocent hard-working member be torn apart. Whether it is money or a pet. It is not fun to be scammed. Even harder when it is a pet. Whether the pet is real or virtual. People gain a bond with that pet. What fun comes out from snatching it to have them up as a trophy pet? Again the fun of crushing a member’s heart. If you want money or a ‘rare’ pet, get up and go work for it. Really. Take other people’s feelings into consideration when stirring up a scam. Don’t be greedy and selfish.
What are the pro’s and con’s of scamming?
Well I only see one pro in scamming. You get a free rare pet or a lot of money. I identify several con’s in the process of scamming. There is the possibility of getting reported and suspended for a period of time. You also lose all respect and trust from multiple members. You may even possibly lose the chance at being considered for re-homing and trading threads. But most importantly you lose friendship. By scamming you are losing the respect you have gained. All trust is lost in a scam. Is it really worth it? Getting a ‘rare’ pet or money and losing friends? Or working to accomplish your dream and keeping your friends? You are breaking a heart after the process of scamming is finished. You may even make a great member quit. Many members here have quit due to the out-of-control scamming. They can’t handle it. Think about it. Is it worth making great members quit because you are to lazy to work for a pet? Or having all great trusted and respected members stay here and working for your pet?
Is it worth scamming?
In my eyes scamming is a shallow thing. It proves how lazy people can be now-a-days. Is it really that hard to take time into finding the pet that’s right for you? When scamming you are losing trust respect and all honesty. Yes. Yes you gain a ‘rare’ or ‘un-common’ pet or a heap of money. But still. Is money or a pet worth losing everything that leads to a good successful FooLife? Again you are losing friendship trust and respect. Scamming is taking over Foo. Do you really want Foo to be nothing but a website full of scamming? Also flip the pancake over. Would you like it if YOU were scammed? Being scammed is NOT a fun experience.
Some secrets to not being scammed:
Ok no. Not really secrets. But they may help out.
Do not go first when you think something may be wrong or the person you are trading with seems to be lying or has scammed in the past.
These are a few ways to find out if there is a scam about to happen.
The member refuses to go first.
Common ways scammers use to try and get out of scams
My younger sister/brother scammed you. I told my parents to freeze her/his account.
Why do you think members scam?
Well the obviously do so to gain something. But they lose all trust and respect they have gained in their time on Foo. By scamming you are mostly losing instead of gaining. Go work for your dream. You earn along the way. You do not have to crush aa innocent hard working member just to have a trophy pet. No matter how long you have bin looking. I looked for my MLPH for 5 months. Did I scam anyone? No. Not at all. I worked for him. Same with my FLPH. I searched for months. I got her for free something I never thought possible. But point is if you work hard you will find everything you desire. No need to hurt other’s. Just be patient and take time into fining your baby.
Cocoa-A loveable and lazy pitbull that got killed by getting hit by a car….she was my pet…
I remembered my cousin, my mom, and i’s conversation on why we had to get rid of our dog before our recent one named Cocoa. A chocolatey-black pitbull with white underbelly. Before my grandma said we had to get rid of her. She wouldn’t move unless we carried her. That’s because my sister and i did that since she was a baby. Anyways, my grandma used to put her in her lap and rub her back until she(either cocoa or my grandma) fell asleep. Then after she found out her breed, all of a sudden she was all scared of her. She wouldn’t even be inside the same room saying that she’s a beast. She was only about 2 or 3 years old…My grandma forced us to get rid of her but i wanted to see her again, so my mom gave her to a friend. Sadly, Cocoa was hit by a car….after that all i could remember was crying my heart out and my grandma said we were getting a new pet…i wasn’t happy but i wanted to stop crying…
