Cat On The Keyboard
About Me:Hello! I’m Meow; also called Meow-25. I’ve been on foopets for about 6 months now, and I’d like to share a little about myself:
When I First Joined Foopets:Many years ago, I had the ‘once free,’ version of foopets. I started with a female silver tabby named Winter, and I loved her a lot. A bred her with another player’s cat, and she had 4 kittens. After a few months, however, I got bored and stopped playing foopets. Years later, I thought perhaps I should give club foo a shot; maybe it would make foopets more interesting. I decided I would be a Bengal breeder, selling and raising high-quality Bengal kittens. So, I started a new account and began to breed Bengals. However, I had no clue that ‘common’ cats are worth hardly anything, and it was a challenge to find homes for my first litter. The second litter was even harder. It took weeks to sell the kittens, and eventually, I sent two of them to the AC. After a month or so, I realized that breeding common foopets is useless. So, I set out to find something else that I could do that would work.
The Pet Shelter and Cattery:After a while, I decided to start a shelter for cats. I called it AESTabbyRescue, and set to work rescuing homeless kittens. It took a while to get it started, but before long I had found homes for 10 cats, and the number was growing. However, after several weeks, things began to slow down and people stopped adopted kitties from me. I became bored again and started a small cattery for LHST. This time, I bred ultra, purebreds, not commons. But once again, not a single kitten found a home. I lowered the prices to way below the kittens’ worth’s, but I was eventually forced to give them away free. The cat shelter began to decline even more, and nobody adopted kitties, or gave donations. My money was disappearing, and I didn’t have enough to rescue any more cats.
Quitting Foopets:There had always been ‘nice people,’ and ‘not nice people,’ on foopets: but my friends began to quit one by one, and before long it seemed that the ‘nice people,’ were disappearing. People said some mean things to me, and I felt outcast because I “didn’t know textitle markup,” or I “Didn’t understand the foopet rules,” or perhaps I “Asked for money or items too often.” With my shelter and cattery failing, and people always criticizing me, I felt that foopets was no longer worth what I paid for it. But the rude comments are not what made me quit; it was the fact that foopets was not what I thought it was. I thought that pets had worth. I thought that I could earn money by rescuing or breeding pets. I thought that I could build a reputation as a reliable pet seller. But none of things were true. I have nothing against foopets at all; I love foopets! But the point is, I was disappointed. So that’s why I quit.
My Current Foopet family:Even though I’ve canceled club foo, I haven’t quit foopets completely. I still get on sometimes to pet and feed my kittens, and I enjoy it. Here is my current foopet family;
