His Story – Fictional
Caydren was born a leader. He was the biggest pup out of the litter of five, and he was also the most independent. He was the pup that bossed his other siblings around, always putting them in what he thought was their place. As the puppies grew bigger, Caydren grew apart from them. He venture off on his own, exploring all the of the backyard that he was enclosed in. At eight weeks of age, his brothers and sisters began to disappear. A nice couple or family would stop by and play with them, then they would pick them up and leave. They didn't bring them back. Caydren was cautious of this situation. He'd cower away or even snap at a human that tried to touch him. This went on for weeks, until finally he was the last pup left. He had no one to wrestle with, no one to stuggle with at night. He was no longer with his mother. Each of them were put into separate kennels outside. The only thing he had to snuggle with was the cold chain-link fence that he was surrounded by. The humans were nice to him still. They'd feed him every day and occasionally play with him. But whenever they looked at him, they always had a sad expression on their faces, almost as if they felt sorry for him.
Weeks went by. Caydren had now reached fourteen weeks of age, and was more independent than ever. He wouldn't place with anyone now. He'd get into mischief when no one was looking, but when the humans found the messes he made, he was always scolded. Finally, they had had enough of his misbehaviors. The bigger human - the male - went out to the road and hammered a sign into the ground that read: "FREE Red Siberian Husky pup to good home."
A few days went by and a young girl came to the house. She wasn't a child, yet she didn't seem like an adult either. She had a talk with the man and he finally escorted her over to Caydren's kennel. He sat there and stared at them, no look of joy or happiness on his face. The man sighed and started talking to the girl about the pup. Caydren didn't understand much of the human language, but he heard the words "bad behavior" and "mischivious" in their conversation. The girl stood there and listened to every word he said. When he finished, she looked back down at Caydren and smiled.
The next thing Caydren knew, he was being picked up by his scruff and put into the arms of the girl. He started to panic. He had never been handled like this since he was thrown out in the kennel. He wanted down, he wanted to go back in the kennel, to curl up against the chain-link fence and to take a nice nap in the sun. They started to walk away and the kennel that he called home became smaller and smaller. Then he started to whine. He was never a whiner, but this was a desperate time. Where were they taking him? They went out to the front of the house, a place Caydren had never been before. It looked much like the back, just without a fence. They were going towards a big black monster. The girl grabbed onto the side of it and pulled, opening it up so the inside was visible. Now Caydren really began to pull away. They were going to feed him to the monster! He pulled and barked, but that only made the girl tighten the grip. She said a few words to the man, smiled, then jumped into the mouth of the beast with Caydren in her arms.
She set Caydren down on the soft area that was indntical to her own. Now that he was inside, it wasn't so bad. He figured it wasn't really a monster, and that nothing was going to happen to him. He stared at the girl the entire time. First she had taken him from his kennel, his home, and now she was taking him to some strange new place. The whole ride, the girl talked to Caydren, soothing him and running her hands over his body. He didn't move, he didn't blink, he just sat there and stared. They weren't in the car very long before they pulled up to another buiding. This one was bigger, and it had a lot more doors than the building back home. She picked him up and they headed towards the starnge new place.
They entered one of the doors and climbed a flight of stairs. When they reached a row of more doors, the girl walked to one dead center and pulled out a key. She opened the door and walked in the room. Once inside, she shut the door and set Caydren down. She looked down at him and said "Welcome home buddy!" in a very happy voice that didn't seem neccessary for the mood. She walked over to a counter and picked up a piece of what seemed like leather with a piece of metal hanging from it. She walked back over to Caydren, and he tried his best not to look scared. Carefully, the girl wrapped the thing around his neck and clicked it shut. The piece of metal dangling from it was in the shape of the bone, and had the single word "Caydren" across it. Caydren looked up at the girl, and once again she smiled. What he didn't know at the time was that he had found his home, a home that would love him, and let him be the leader he was born to be for all his years to come.
His Story – Real
I had been searching for my dream for months. The thought of owning a Male Lost Stat Red Husky seemed possible at the time. I had a decent offer, and quite a good home too. I was almost accepted once, but I never got my boy. Eventually, I gave up.
One day, I came across a rehoming for a Lost Stat Red Husky. My dream flamed back to life. I put everything into it - I answered everything truthfully and from the heart. I made it all the way to the Top 3, but once again my dream ended. It was not a complete loss though. A few days after the rehoming was over, I received a message from a girl I met in the rehoming saying she was giving me her Lost Stat Red Husky for Adoption Center price. I was shocked.. That is how

came to be. She was a truly amazing gift, but the dream had always been a male..
About a month later, I found another rehoming for a Male Lost Stat Red Husky. I knew I had to give it my all again. So, I gave everything I had, I answered everything with pride and hope. I made it through all the tops.. until the Top 3 again. Once again, my dream was stopped. I was disappointed, but that boy went to an amazing home, so I was happy about that.
I layed low for awhile. My offer had vanished, and my hope had lowered too. But I was still searching secretly in my own time. A couple friends knew of my searching, and they were kind enough to help me. But on the day of Wednesday, June the 20, I logged on to find a message from one of my best friends. It read: "He Cost Me a Fortune But He Was Worth Every Penny To Know That Smile oN Your Face When You Get His Sale Link In Meebo :3 Meebo Me When You Can ~~ Tays" I was shocked.. I was overwhelmed.. I dreamed of you. I dreamed of owning a clumsy boy with a face like yours. Of a boy with a coat of red and eyes of amber. A boy with a fluffy tail that can’t seem to stop wagging. And of a boy who will love me as much as I know I’ll love him♥
