Thunder’s Birth Certificate-
Thunder isn’t perfect. Lets face it. No one is. However he is as perfect as anyone can be. He will protect others and will fight for justice and the truth. He will die to protect the ones he loves and thats what makes him so brave. He is a police dog through and through and a loyal one with that. You couldn’t have a better friend then Thunder. He might seem a bit strict and though but when you get to kno him he is really a sweet little pup. I love my Thunder and always will.
Every dog wants to feel special, wanted, to feel their life has purpose, that they are in their forever home but it seems this is to much to ask of a human. I don’t even have a home, let alone one I know I can live in forever. My name is Thunder and this is my story
Lightning flashed across the stormy sky and thunder boomed in the pups ears as he curled up inside the cardboard box, tucking his nose under his tail and fluffing his fur up against the wind to stay warm. Rain drops leaked into the box. The pup shivered. He hadn’t had food for nearly two days and his stomach howled in hunger. The young German Shepherd with scruffy, dull dark brown and tan markings shuffled further back into his box and closed his eyes. He slept in an alleyway between two houses. He often crept out and sat on the wall of the house on his right, looking in to see the happy family inside, playing with their two dogs. He didn’t know why he did this. It only made him more sad but it also made him determined to find a home of his own.
Earlier that day he had been sitting on that brick wall, watching the family play with the dogs and as usually he would sit there wondering if he should go to the door and bark. Maybe the family would take him in. Maybe they would give him a home. He made up his mind after five minutes of thinking it through and went up to the door and barked. The man stood up and went to the door. He opened it and looked down tat the young German Shepherd pup. Both of them stared at each other for a few moments before the man picked up a book and flung it at the pup. He yelped and jumped back. He couldn’t tell what was happening. Why did the man hate him? The man advanced and flung the book at him got another and again and again he did this. Yelling and screaming at the pup. He turned and ran back to his box and plunged inside. The pup wasn’t sure what had just happened. He couldn’t understand why the man loved those other dogs but attacked him. He crept out after a few minutes and looked at his reflection in a puddle of water. His fur was tangled and dirty, his muzzle was scratched and cut from his precious fight with a hored of rats who were stealing his food. Now he understood. He was a mess, a wild dog, a mutt. No one wanted a dog like that. They wanted the prettiet, the ones with the fluffy coats and bright shiny eyes. He thought miserably.
The pup gave up trying to sleep. The memory of that day was fresh in his mind. He crept out of the box and sat down outside it. Rain soaked his fur right down to his skin. He shivered but did not care how wet he got. He looked up at the sky, narrowing his eyes against the rain and saw a tiny path of clear sky. Just at that moment a shooting star flashed brightly across the sky. The young German Shepherd closed his eyes and thought….
I wish I had a home!!!
3 months had passed and the pup was now almost full grown. He had given up on this dream and got suited to living as a stray. He was tough and strong built. He had given himself the name Trouble. He was tired of being pushed around. He rounded a corner while on a walk to see some guys in black suits racing towards him. Trouble jumped aside and watched them pass. He walked back around the corner and saw two police officers chasing the guys.
So there robbers are they? Well, i’m not gonna sit back and watch them escape!
Trouble turned around and raced after the robbers. He was gaining on them .
Just a little closer
He was right behind them now. Trouble lept forward and sank his teeth into the thinest ribbers leg. The man howled with pain and picked up a brick from the wall. The guy flung it at Trouble. Pain shot through his shoulder as he felt a gash open up on. Trouble clamped his jaws around the guys leg even tighter. Forcing himself not to howl in pain. Suddenly he heard the man scream in shock. Trouble looked up to see the cops hand-cuffing the guy. Trouble let go and looked for the other robber and saw him slumped up against the wall already hand-cuffed.
Trouble turned to leave when he heard one of the Coppers call him back. Trouble looked around and much to his shock the officer was holding a black, leather collar with a shiny gold police badge attached. The officer smiled at him and said.
“Welcome to the police force, officer Thunder”
Thunder was now a year old. His fur was no longer knotted and dirty but smooth and shiny. He still bore the scars from his childhood along with some new ones. His new collar and police vest were a little worn and dirty but Thunder didn’t mind. He was happy, he was a police dog and he had a hom. He never would have thought that this would be his new home, his forever home but he did not care. He was saving lives and was helping others. His life had meaning, his life had purpose and he was where he was meant to be. H wasn’t just a pup or an alley dog named Trouble or even a dog named Thunder. No, he was Officer Thunder!!!
Why I choose a Lost or Exact German Shepherd as my 2nd dream!
Ever since I joined the Foopets World I have loved German Shepherds. After a month or two I figured out that this game is more complex then I had first anticipated. Pets were divided up into categories. Common, Uncommon and Rare. I had only common pets and therefore, they would be harder to sell then others. After another month or two I realised that there were pets such as Max Stats, Lost Stats, Exact Stats, Almost Lost Stats, Ultra Stats and Uber Stats. I was never interested in the high stat pets. I have always liked the low stats. So I began collecting Almost Lost pets, then 1 or two Exact Stats. But no, I now had a dream and it was to get my very own Lost or Exact German Shepherd. And so the search began……
I was on Meebo with one of my best friends and one of the nicest foo members you would ever meet. Who is this member? ‘LordOfTheSeps":http://www.foopets.com/member/25124585. We were talking about some graphics I had ordered and about my search for my dream when she told me she had a surprise for me. I couldn’t decide who it was. I was thinking FDs or FGs or something like that when she gave me the sale link to a pet. I was very interested now. I clicked the link and nearly died. It was the sale link to her Exact GSD, Exact Max. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I had mentioned a few times that I loved him on her downsizing threads but then I couldn’t offer on him because I was saving for my dream but now I was actually going to bring home this amazing guy. I bought him and named him Thunder. I couldn’t believe it and I still can’t believe it now to be honest. All I really know is that I can never thanks Sheps enough for this and that Thunder will never leave me. I got Thunder on the 25th of January 2013.
How he got his name!
Thunder got his name because he is a brave young dog, a hero. He, like thunder, reminds others of a storm thats coming and helps people when it does. Of course, i’m speaking metaphorically here. Thunder loves his name and it suits him but of course its officer Thunder to you xD
Thunder’s Pictures and Graphics-
He currently has no godparents
Is Thunder for sale?
Well, since you are actually asking this I will make it perfectly clear. He was a gift from a friend so HE IS NEVER FOR SALE!!!!!!!
