Welcome to David’Brian’s profile! We are super happy to meet you and see you here!
David is such a sweet pup! Without a doubt he is always playing and hoping around, being the silly boy he normally is :) He is very smart and learns tricks very quickly, especially when there is treats involved! Though he is quite shy, he might take some time to warm up to you. He is usually behind the back but will stand his ground if he needs to. He loves to chew on this, this includes getting slobber on EVERYTHING. He loves to get his chompers on anything, a stick, a kong, the table leg, so we typically keep him outside especially when it’s a nice sunny day. He loves to splash around in the water and get himself all dirty because he doesn’t care if his fur is the color it is suppose to be. Overall he is a very silly pup and a very loyal pup!
Where to start? David Brian is of course, my real life uncle. He had been there for me ever since I was little and had recently taken his life. None of us really know why but we are pretty sure it had something to do with his current girlfriend. From the story we know, his “girlfriend” (who had been cheating on him at the time) was going home which her and my uncle got into a fight that night and was letting the bug guy in to spray the house to prevent bugs from coming in. She kept changing the location but my uncle had hung himself with an extension cord in a closet. She called the police and I was pulled from school. I was unsure of what was happening until my father told me once the school doors closed. I couldn’t believe it honestly, though he had threatened suicide on multiple occasions, he never really did it. Yes, he did do a lot of self harm and was on medication but refused to take it since they made him feel so weird. He had schizophrenia and Bi Polar disorder which took control over his daily life. He would constently hear voices in his head that none of the family could hear. He would black out and get violent. He wasn’t the perfect person of course, but I loved him. I remember my uncle coming to my house in tears because of the same girl and saying how he could never find real love. So he was threatening to stick a gun to his head and I was there to hear the whole thing and my parents didn’t know what to say or do. So I took action and told him that he had a son that was going to be graduating soon and that he needs his dad to be there. David yelled down my throat but I kept my cool because I knew that he couldn’t really control himself and so I calmly talked to him and told him though, I might not have much experience in life, I can give advice from what seems right and from what I have experienced. Thank goodness he didn’t take his life that night but it was only a matter of time till he did…I will never ever forget my uncle, I love and miss him on a everyday basis and I just hope he is doing amazing up there in heaven with my grandparents
I ended up getting David in a rehoming, hosted by, Ini . And what could I say? I am lucky to have him in my home! For awhile I debated on even applying, because I figured I wouldn’t stand a chance and I knew exactly when I saw this boy, that he would represent my uncle and I wasn’t sure if I was exactly ready for that just yet. After a while, I decided to apply, I knew that if I didn’t I would only regret it later and this boy would help me find some closure in my uncles passing. So put all the effort I could into getting David, whose name was Asher at the time. Making my app as perfect as I could, then when tops were announced I was super worried. Everyone who applied were amazing people and homes, so the chances of me being in tops were so slim, before I clicked the link I prepared myself to accept the fact that I didn’t make it…except I did! I was so happy and worked on my task as hard as I could, making sure I didn’t miss a single detail….MORE TO COME
This boy will never be for sale, so please refrain from asking. If he were to ever be sold he would go back to Ini to do what she wishes.
