Hi welcome to Mustard’s profile! He is a lost male orange mix. A wonderful member named FadingEcho- was taking offers on her lost Male Orange Tabby. I had only 4k, but I still offered hoping that I could bring home my dream boy. I came back to my computer a little bit later with a message saying that she had accepted my offer! I was finally able to bring my boy home, and I couldn’t be happier!
Mustard is a handsome cat that my family brought home almost 5 years ago. He is one of the sweetest cats you will ever met… if he liked you. If not, he would avoid you like the plague XD It was always funny coming home and seeing him sitting on the porch in front of the house. We would make eye contact, and he would bolt into the bushes. I would then shout “Mustard, come on its me!” And he would poke his head out and then come running up once he realized it was me. My cat Oscar use to do the same thing, but now does he just runs up to me meowing, begging for attention. Mustard simply adored my young siblings and will let them do absolutely anything to him. He would let them play with him, dress him up, and he would sleep with both of them at night and watch over them. We adopted Mustard when he was a kitchen form a local shelter in our town. My sister was about 3 years old, and he was the only cat that she was drawn to. He had reached a cute little paw out at her, and grabbed her meowing very very loudly. She laughed so hard, and we just knew that he was the one we were going to bring home. One of my fondest memories of him was coming back from college, and Mustard curling up in my lap and took a 2 hour nap with me. Prior to this, he was mad at me for leaving and wouldn’t let me pet him without being angry at me lol.
About three months ago (Janurary 2018), we got informed by my stepfather that Mustard hadn’t come home for the past three days. Panicking, my mother and I went looking for him, and ever brought a new cat home praying it was him although we knew it wasn’t. After two months, we noticed a orange cat roaming the neighborhood that looked like Mustard. To make it even better, he was with the cat group he was normally with. Happy as it is, we sadly couldn’t catch him. But he looks healthy and happy, so hopefully one of these days Mustard will finally come home.
