Wondrous is a male Westie born June 1, 2018
and last adopted November 18, 2018.
He is 1 year and 9 months old.
Wondrous is a very special little boy. He is a lost stat! But what’s even better is that he’s from one of my best friends on here, Ashley. I’d like to thank her again for this special boy <3
He isn’t a dog for walks, he prefers cars or being carried in your arms. He just isn’t for the walks, especially the longer ones. But, he is a very loving boy. If you want to go on a walk with him, be prepared to get a lot more exercise intended as he’ll be in your arms most of the time! He’d be licking your face the whole time, and loving every second of the “walk”. Wondrous is a very smart dog though. He can scent good from bad, sicknesses, he knows when you’re down and happy, etc. He is one that could be a police dog, or find someone who’s lost right away. His nose works extremely well. He can smell cake baking from a mile away, or he claims so!
When you’re sad, for example he’ll jump into your arms making sure you feel happy again. He can put that frown upside down! Not kidding, either. Wondrous knows how to sense your feeling, so he can join you. If you’re angry, he’ll go off and maybe (on accident of course) make you angrier by barking at the door thinking someone’s there when they’re not.
His nose is a machine! It’s better than tracking devices. Better than his other friends’ noses. He sure is special for his talents. Everyone’s very sure he can save a life, but his speed slows him down which doesn’t help. But, he would go quick (well, as quick as possible) even if it means you take the lead.
Wondrous isn’t the bravest, but he can be fearless in intense moments. He knows when he should be scared, and when to be fearless and help his family. He has a huge heart, and is willing to give up everything for those he loves; or who you love.
Overall, Wondrous is a smart, talented, loving Westie. He wouldn’t hurt a fly, and if he did it’d be an accident or if it was hurting who he loves of course. That was about Wondrous, now to learn how he came home!
I remember when Ashley made the thread that she found him. It was called um WHAT. Of course, my initial reaction is to click on the thread. When I did, I saw his link. I clicked on it, and I fell in love. I was so excited for Ashley, she found an LS Westie on the play page! It’s rare to find those lucky finds. Of course, I congratulated her because like who wouldn’t? Rare finds are hard, they’re called rare for a reason! I asked what she’d name him, as I was interested. She named him Nicholas, after Santa Claus! I thought (and still do) it was adorable, especially for a Westie like him. The thread was full of lots of congrats after that. That was all I saw of him for a while.
I believe then after that she was taking on pets, and he was one of them. Honestly, I was pretty desperate for him. I offered a small amount, and it wasn’t accepted but considered or something. She told she had a higher offer. I was bummed. But I did raise my offer from a small amount to 10k fd. I was pretty proud of that, but I knew it wasn’t enough.
My birthday rolled around. The day before, someone (who deleted their thread) was giving out rare pets. They never gave them out, but they did have a LS westie. I thought maybe I could get a birthday gift for myself. Anyways, my birthday came. I went on to Foopets at like 6am. I saw a message from Ashley, with his link for 45FD. I was in so much shock. I was so happy I could cry. I’ve wanted him for such a long time, and he finally came home. She made a birthday thread for me too, which made me super happy.
I’ll be forever grateful for him, even though there was no dream thread for this specific dog, I can say it was a dream come true. <3
I was walking through the woods one dark night, alone. I’m not so sure why, it just seemed like a nice night. The sun went down, the owls came out. I heard them talking, there were several. I kept walking, it got a little chilly. I just kept going down the path. I wasn’t afraid, as it was a very calm enviornment at the time. At least, that’s what I thought. I heard a little yelp of pain, fear. I turned around, to see a little white dog fighting a fox.
Hey there! I am Wondrous. You know what my favorite thing to do is? Sniff and play. Yep, I know, I know, typical. I don’t mind though! It’s so much fun. I smell so many smells at once, it can be overwhelming. My owner says I am very helpful. Helpful? I’m just having fun, but at least I am something good for use to help out I guess. I love walking! Just kidding, I hate it. Well, hate is a strong word for something so small… not for me though. Walks are huge, I am small. They’re so hard to walk that I get a ride instead. It’s so nice, though I do make sure to get some exercise so I don’t get chubby! I don’t eat too much, so I don’t think it’d ever get to that point. Also, if you didn’t know, my best friend is White’Chocolate. He’s so nice! We love playing in the woods together, or at least I do. He gets a little freaked out, but in the end it becomes great fun. I love being in the woods, there is so much to smell. Especially playing hide and seek, I win every time. I know when, where, and what the other dog is doing. I can smell him, and I can tell where he is. And I can tell when he’s getting close, so I follow him slowly! It’s so much fun jumping out of the bushes and scaring him. Though I make sure he gets me back eventually. I know the woods very well, so they don’t scare me. Wanna go hit a hike? Well, by yourself of course. You’ll do the walking, I’ll do the talking. What do you say?
