The name Echo comes from the name I would have used for Puffie’s other MLPH, Tsubasa. When Puffie was going to leave Foo, she wanted to leave him in my care. However, this was not meant to be, as our mutual friend was angry with this, and Puffie, the everlasting mediator, gave Tsubasa back to this person, who sold him not to long after. It was a long time ago, and honestly I don’t even think about it anymore because this person is my best friend. I was going to name Tsubasa Echo, and Echo bears this name for the lost pup. I’m not entirely sure when I found the name Echo. It’s not a name I’ve seen too often on here, so I’m going to go ahead and guess that I did another name search when I ran out of ideas.
I never knew that I was going to get him. I never even knew that I wanted another LPH before I set my eyes on him. You see, once I saw how much the rarer losties were going for, I thought I could find a few and add them to my offer for my FLPGSD dream. So, I searched, and searched, and searched for hours at a time when I wasn’t busy working. I never gave up though, and I never got frustrated with the fact that I wasn’t finding anything. It was a sort of blind, unwavering hope, you could say.
Well, I continued my search for losties on the play page, periodically bumping up my dream thread. I still kept on though, because if I stopped searching I would never get Maxine. Long story short, the day came where I finally became fed up with not finding anything. I ranted to my friend on Meebo for a bit, and then logged off to search. Not five minutes later, I found a -1 Dalmatian. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I bought him, named him Flecks, and made a thread taking offer on him. I had never seen a lost Dalmatian before, so I was sort of hoping that he, along with 10,000FD resell, would help me bring Maxine home.<
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. But, a kind user offered to trade the losties that she had offered for Flecks. I agreed, and she made a thread. Eventually, she got the offer of a young Legacy Husky named America. She gave me his link, and I fell in love with him immediately. So much for not wanting any more LPHs, huh? We were just waiting on America’s owner to make her final decision. One day, while in my ninth period Spanish class, I decided to sneak a peak on my phone. She had gotten America. When I got home from school and from picking up my mom from work, I sent Fleck’s link, and adopted America, settling on the new name of Echo for him.
