That’s good to hear Nanny. That sounds like here, they want you in and out quickly.

She’s finally been discharged!!! Her kidneys were barely functioning but she has been ‘nil by mouth’ Friday through to Sunday! NO drips nothing!

That’s great Nanny. Maybe you’ll have even more next election if word gets out your handing out sweets.

One of my Poll clerks queried the fact so I asked a voter that was there, her opinion was that they are fruit – cos she liked my Christmas ear rings lol
SO much rain here I wish I could send it to Aus!!

Medium

Lol!!

It hasn’t been too bad here. Just very light snow, and not super cold. Are they having issues with fires again?

Medium

They never stopped!! Temperatures nearly 50!!!!

Medium

Oh my goodness! 30 is too hot for me, never mind 50.
It snowed yesterday and warmed up considerably. It was in the -30’s with the wind in the wind in the morning, but was in the minus teens when I finished work at 21:30.

I have friends all down that east coast I want to get them safe!!!
Non stop rain here floods all over the place – doesn’t seem right!

Medium

It doesn’t :(

Went for my ‘final’ food shop today and they didn’t have any Christmas puddings left!! I’ll go to our local shop tomorrow never usually shop on a Sunday, but then I’ll be done!!
Grand daughter’s 19th birthday on Monday, taking the grandson [who just got a new job] out on Christmas Eve, always done it, then home and chill!!!

Medium

My niece is turning 18 on Monday.

We will be making new traditions this year. I am working until we close on Christmas Eve, and then am off Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

What do you and your grandson usually do on Christmas Eve?

Medium

When they were little we used to go and see Father Christmas, shop and eat, then we just used to do some last minute shopping usually for their Mum n Dad and eat, now it’s only the grandson as his sister is working so we’ll just have something to eat in his favourite place – we may have a wander round if he wants to shop we can. Then home! He now classes it as a family tradition and is hell bent on keeping it going even when he’s working! Who knows maybe next year he’ll pick ME up and drive!!

Medium

That sounds sweet. Since we lived so far away from our Grandparents ( 18 hour drive ) we had no Christmas traditions with them. Maybe!!
